Vermeer attended the 2014 National Olive Industry Conference & Trade Exhibition, showcasing a range of Vermeer Equipment to keep the industry productive.
This conference is attended by olive growers Australia-wide who are keen to learn about the latest in olive-growing methods and technology. Shannon Nicolson from the Vermeer Sydney team travelled to the Hunter Valley to introduce Vermeer’s range of environmental equipment to this niche market. Vermeer’s smaller tree care equipment such as the SC30TX Stump Grinder and our newest and smallest Wood Chipper, the BC700XL are very well suited to the maintenance of olive crops.
Shannon was also able to demonstrate the Vermeer BC1000XL to a large audience at the event who were very interested in learning about the potential positive effects Vermeer products can have on their productivity and profit. This event proved to be a very positive introduction for the Vermeer team and the Australian olive growing industry with many relationships formed and a large level of interest in Vermeer solutions from the attendees.
