Vermeer Australia has announced Ken Smith, currently Vermeer Australia’s National Accounts and Projects Manager, will now be responsible for all surface miner sales, while managing the sale and rental of WEI drill rigs, recyclers and mud pumps.

Ken has been working for Vermeer Australia since 2015 and has a strong background working in oil and gas drilling. His new role will see him focusing on Vermeer’s surface mining opportunities in mining and civil construction projects, such as tunnels, road widening, sub-divisions, and specific projects with hard rock excavation.

Jeff Lawson, General Manager – Sales for Vermeer Australia says Ken has a wealth of knowledge in large infrastructure, civil, renewable and mining sectors which will work well with his new responsibilities.
