Business as usual in Melbourne, just with a few changes…

Coronavirus (COVID-19) certainly has impacted us all and how we do business. Whilst our business has had some temporary changes, our phone lines, parts and service centre, social media, and emails are still on and the team are ready to assist you. We are still open and we want to reassure our customers that we are committed to supporting you during these uncertain times.

We have taken various preventative measures to ensure our Melbourne branch continues to operate safely with minimal disruption and impact to our customer’s businesses. We have implemented a COVID safe plan in line with VIC government guidelines and will continue to monitor the situation and react and adapt where needed.

We understand that our branches provide vital support and infrastructure to our customers, so we are taking every measure to limit the impact the current restrictions are causing.

Parts

Qantas Freight Services announced this week that VIC Govt have closed the Melbourne terminal until further notice. For your reference, the announcement can be found on this link.

John Deere Parts

The bulk of the Air Freight movements generated from John Deere move through this facility regardless of the airline that the freight is moving on. As a result, there will be challenges in moving freight through the network this week, but John Deere have assured us they have measures in place to limit the delays this might cause.

Department of Health and Human Services are working with Qantas and the Melbourne Airport to remedy the situation as soon as possible.

Contactless parts collection

We have a full contactless plan in place that allows parts to be ordered via phone or email and these can be collected up at the designated pick up area or delivered directly to your door.  For all enquiries and orders contact our Parts Department on 03 8851 6210.

Service

We have 3 resident service technicians, and a team of field service technicians operating out of our Melbourne branch that are continuing to perform services and repairs wherever needed. Once again, a full contactless system has been implemented.
