The body/housing of the Spiderjack 3 is made of stainless steel, which is more flexible than aluminium. This means there is less wear with higher residual strength, even under high working loads.
The pulley located under the body of the device fair leads deflected ropes smoothly. The fall of the climbing line is directed in front of the climber so it is possible to pull and feed the rope very comfortably with one hand or hand over into the device, making it ambidextrous.
The swivel allows climbers to always use the devise in the optimum direction. The Spiderjack 3 has two different cams (for ropes between 11-12 mm and 12-14 mm) and it is not possible to place the cam in the wrong direction.
All the wear items on the Spiderjack 3 are replaceable. It also has a secured locking position function that makes it possible to give out a bit of rope if needed and to temporarily avoid the self-tailing effect.
